Sigma Entertainment Productions, Inc. Mission Statement

Sigma Entertainment Productions Inc., is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that provides comprehensive educational training, youth service programs and activities to at-risk youth 10 – 21 years of age and their families in Houston/Harris County.

Sigma Entertainment Productions Inc., features an innovative hands on work based learning experience program, that hires and teaches youth for six weeks during summer break from school in job positions involving the creative process of feature film production including, pre-production, location scouting, casting, shooting, post-production and on screen premiers. Our program directors, producers and actors serve as mentors to students who participate in our theatre and film productions.

Sigma Entertainment Production Inc., has comprehensive youth services programs that are designed to work with both youth at-risk that are in-school and out of school to complete their high school or GED education and also to gain access to career opportunities, jobs and educational opportunities in post-secondary schools. We provide after school educational, recreational and entertainment programs that help our youth gain a positive attitude, academic achievement and self-image to succeed both in school and at the work place. In short, our programs are designed to motivate young people —to be better citizens.

Sigma Entertainment Production Inc. relies on public support from both the public and private sector. Tax deductible investing as underwriters and sponsors in addition, to souvenir book advertising affords an increase of positive career choices for our youth. It is a statistical fact, sports and music entertainment is the only chance most disadvantaged and at-risk kids have to make a better life for themselves. Our special events and productions offer positive choices while providing opportunities for local and national corporations, foundations and individuals to support our programs and activities for the youth we serve.
